Dopapod played a two-night stand at Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 9 and Friday, December 10. The band shared pro-shot video containing a cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Around The World” featuring videographer Dave “MKDevo” Pecoraro on lead vocals from Friday’s concert.

Red Hot Chili Peppers originally released “Around The World” on their 1999 studio album, Californication. Dopapod debuted a cover of the song on October 30 at Columbus’ Woodlands Tavern as part of the quartet’s “Woodstock at Woodlands” run at the venue featuring songs played at Woodstock festivals in 1969, 1994 and 1999.

MKDevo emerged at the start of Dopapod’s encore on Friday to sing “Around The World.” The band went on to close the show with a version of “23 Forever” that incorporated the first verse and chorus of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” Dopapod debuted a take on the Ween classic “Happy Colored Marbles” to end the evening’s first set and reprised the song to kick off the final set of the run.
