Dave Matthews Band shared audio of “What Would You Say.” The live cut of the DMB favorite is from the recently released Live Trax Vol. 64, captured on December 7, 2000 at Gund Arena in Cleveland.

The concert featured the classic DMB lineup of Dave Matthews, drummer Carter Beauford, bassist Stefan Lessard, saxophonist/flutist LeRoi Moore and fiddler Boyd Tinsley. The band’s performance in Cleveland on December 7, 2000 (nearly 23 years ago to the day), came during a late fall tour in the month of December.

The Cleveland 2000 version of “What Would You Say” — the studio version appearing on DMB’s landmark 1994 LP, Under the Table and Dreaming — fell in the fifth song slot and kicks off with some vintage Dave Matthews-speak. The song also boasts a stellar extended sax solo from the late great LeRoi Moore.
