Jeff Tweedy, Wynonna, Warren Haynes & More Coming to PBS ‘The Cavern Sessions’ This Fall

The next season of subterranean PBS performance series The Caverns Sessions will begin on September 9 with Jeff Tweedy. Wynonna, Warren Haynes, Punch Brothers and more artists are set for Season 15 of the series shot in The Caverns beneath Grundy County, Tennessee.

Also airing this fall are performances by Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Kyle Tuttle Band, The Band of Heathens, New Dangerfield, The Wilder Blue, Apocalyptica, Taylor Hunnicutt and Slay & Stinson. The Punch Brothers will wrap Season 15 of The Caverns Sessions on November 25.

“I’m continually filled with wonder and joy at all the amazing artists we are so privileged to shine a light on in the darkness of The Caverns through this enduring series on PBS, a home for art and cultural programming that exists nowhere else on American television,” Caverns owner Todd Mayo stated.

Series producer Todd Jarrell added: “Season 15 brings together extraordinary artists and a remarkable range of musical traditions in a setting unlike any other. The Caverns Sessions is a place of discovery for audiences, offering music from the heart of the American experience.”

New episodes of The Caverns Sessions will broadcast nationwide on PBS stations and will be available to stream free on PBS.org and the PBS app for 30 days following each premiere. Episodes will then be added to the PBS Passport library. Check local listings for specific broadcast dates and times.
