Brandi Carlile Tells Dua Lipa ‘The Story’ In Seattle

Dua Lipa came to Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, the last stop on the North American leg of her Radical Optimism Tour. The pop star continued her guest parade on the trek by welcoming Washington native Brandi Carlile for “The Story.”

“The Story” is the title track to Brandi Carlile’s acclaimed, T Bone Burnett-produced second album, released in 2007. Carlile was born in Ravensdale, Washington just outside of Seattle and still resides in her home state.

Brandi joined Dua Lipa for the latter’s first night in Seattle. Carlile played electric guitar and dueted with Dua on “The Story” in the Emerald City. Check out clips of the performance below:

The Radical Optimism Tour has seen Lipa bring out many guests, including Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, Lionel Richie, Nile Rodgers, Lenny Kravitz, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, Chaka Khan, Charli XCX, Jamiroquai's Jay Kay, Troye Sivan and others.
