Rock and Roll Hall Of Famer John Oates brought his solo ensemble to Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California on Sunday night where, as expected, Bob Weir was the Hall & Oates’ guitarist’s special guest.

Weir emerged during Oates’ performance, which also featured multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby for takes on The Band’s “Up On Cripple Creek,” Bob Dylan’s “I Shall Be Released” and the Grateful Dead’s “West L.A. Fadeaway.” Once again, Bobby seemed in fine form as he continues his return after a long layoff and sported his Modulus G3FH full-hollow, carved-top guitar.
