Billy Strings Performs ‘My Sweet Blue-Eyed Darlin’’ For ‘String The Halls’

Billy Strings led his band through “My Sweet Blue-Eyed Darlin” for today’s installment of String The Halls: Home For the Holidays Edtion. Billy and the band unveiled the Bill Monroe tune in July 2015, as per Phantasy Tour.
Strings and his group — mandolinist Jarrod Walker, bassist Royal Masat and banjo player Billy Failing — last played the number at the Exit/Inn on the Streaming Strings Tour in Nashville.

String The Halls is a charity fundariaser benefitting the following organizations: Nashville Rescue Mission, Musically Fed and Second Harvest Food Bank Of Middle Tennessee. “My Sweet Blue-Eyed Darlin” is the 11th installment in String The Halls, Billy is putting out a song each day running up until Christmas, when the whole 12-song collection will be released via nugs.net.
