Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann invited vocalist Kanika Moore to participate in this weekend’s Mahalo Dead run at Porter Pavilion on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. The three-show event begins this Friday, November 22.
Moore, who fronts Doom Flamingo, performed alongside Kreutzmann when she accompanied his Billy & The Kids project for a pair of shows in August 2023. Along with Moore, the previously confirmed Mahalo Dead lineup includes Kreutzmann joined by guitarists Jake Brownstein (Eggy) and Daniel Donato along with percussionist Jason Hann (The String Cheese Incident), bassist Reed Mathis (Billy & The Kids) and keyboardist Adam MacDougall (Circles Around The Sun).
