Yo La Tengo Extends 2023 North American Tour Into September
Tickets for the 17-date run go on sale Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. local time.

Yo La Tengo added September tour dates across North America in support of their 2023 album, This Stupid World. The September leg of the ongoing This Stupid World Tour spans September 8 – 30 and includes shows in the Southeast, Texas, Midwest, Colorado and Southwest.
The trio consisting of guitarist Ira Kaplan, drummer Georgia Hubley and bassist James McNew launch the September portion of the trek on September 8 in Charleston, South Carolina. Yo La Tengo then hits St. Augustine, Florida on September 9 before a two-night stand in New Orleans on September 11 and 12.

The band that was formed in Hoboken, New Jersey continues the tour in Texas with stops in Houston on September 14, Austin on September 15 and 16 and Dallas on September 17. Dates in Wichita, Kansas on September 19 and Omaha, Nebraska on September 20 follow.
From there YLT heads to Colorado for shows in Fort Collins on September 22 and Boulder on September 23. After performances in Santa Fe, New Mexico on September 25 and the Arizona cities of Tucson on September 27 and Phoenix on September 28, the tour ends in California with gigs in Los Angeles on September 29 and Solana Beach on September 30. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 16.
