Watch Justin Timberlake Crash Don Toliver’s Miami Concert For ‘Rock Your Body’

Justin Timberlake went from VIP spectator to surprise guest during Don Toliver's concert in Miami on Saturday. The rapper sent the crowd into hysterics when he brought out Timberlake for a performance of his 2002 hit “Rock Your Body.”

Timberlake attended Toliver’s Octane World Tour stop on Saturday, August 22, intending to simply enjoy the show. Instead, he wound up on stage for an unexpected performance that marked his first live appearance in several months.

“I just wanted to watch the show from the VIP,” Timberlake wrote in an Instagram post documenting the night. He followed the caption with a SpongeBob SquarePants title card reading “a few moments later.”

Sure enough, Timberlake soon emerged on stage to join Toliver for “Rock Your Body,” one of the defining songs from his 2002 debut solo album, Justified. Fans quickly pulled out their phones to capture the unexpected collaboration.

Toliver asked a visibly reluctant Timberlake to stick around. Timberlake was a gracious enough to act as hypeman while Toliver performed his song “Baby,” which samples “Rock Your Body.” Toliver had already played the cut from his latest album, Octane, earlier in the night, but he couldn’t resist a reprise with Timberlake in the mix.

The appearance was notable given Timberlake’s relatively limited live activity in recent months. His most recent stage performance came at the Recording Academy Honors in January, where he performed as part of the celebration honoring his longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams.

Timberlake also spent much of the past year dealing with health issues. In July 2025, the singer revealed that he had been battling Lyme disease while wrapping up his year-plus-long Forget Tomorrow World Tour.

Don Toliver will continue to bring the “Nitrous” leg of his Octane World Tour to arenas across North America through September 6. A run of shows in Asia and Australia follows before a series of European dates brings the trek to a close.
