Yo La Tengo Schedules 2026 Hanukkah Residency In New York City

Yo La Tengo will celebrate the eight nights of Hanukkah with eight consecutive shows at Bowery Ballroom in New York City. The dates for the trio’s 19th annual Hanukkah residency are December 4 – 11.

“8 Nights Of Hanukkah With Yo La Tengo” residencies are known for the special guests, unusual covers and distinct setlists the Hoboken-birthed band rolls out at every show. YLT also taps surprise music and comedy openers each night.

Guests who joined Yo La Tengo during their 2025 residency included Sun Ra Arkestra, Ana Gasteyer, The National's Matt Berninger, Norah Jones, Jeff Tweedy, Lucinda Williams, Susanna Hoffs and several others.

Yo La Tengo first presented the run in 2001 at Maxwell’s in Hoboken. The trio put the residency on hiatus from 2013 through 2016 after the venue was shuttered and brought the run back in 2017 at Bowery Ballroom, where it has been held ever since.

General on-sales for tickets start on Friday, July 24 at 10 a.m. ET. No fee tickets can be purchased at Record Grouch in Brooklyn.
