Wonderland Forest in Lafayette, New York, will not host previously announced concert events this year. Several live music performances will now take place at The Westcott Theater in Syracuse.

Impacted live music events slated for the Wonderland Forest 2025 season include Dogs In A Pile’s inaugural music festival, Burning Daylight, scheduled over Memorial Day Weekend, May 23 – 25.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, The Infamous Stringdusters and Melt were slated to perform at Wonderland Forest on May 31. Wonderland also planned to host a Leftover Salmon and Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass concert on August 1.

Those three events will relocate to The Westcott Theater. Camping and other ticket add-ons and will be automatically and refunded for the three events as well.

Into The Woods featuring Jaimoe with Friends of The Brothers and others, which was scheduled for June 26 – 28, was unable to be rescheduled. Refunds for Into The Woods will be automatically processed.

“It is with heavy hearts today that we must bring you the unfortunate news that Wonderland Forest must pause,” begins a statement from Wonderland co-owner Dan Mastronardi. “We were poised to present another great summer of music, camping, and community, but our gates will close for the season as we navigate unexpected hurdles. We are approaching these issues with the same hope and unwavering spirit that we have maintained since we broke ground at Wonderland Forest several years ago. Our stages will stand still and silent in the coming months, but they will do so only in anticipation of our next chapter after we reclaim, rebuild, and return stronger than ever. We don’t feel this is our finale, but rather the beginning of our next crescendo.”

According to Syracuse.com, Mastronardi is involved in a legal battle with Wonderland co-owner, Mastronardi’s cousin James Raite. Syracuse.com also reported on the lawsuit Wonderland was involved in with the local government after it passed ordinances aimed at public gatherings and noise restrictions.

Wonderland Forest began holding concert events in 2023. Trey Anastasio Band, The Disco Biscuits and Twiddle are among the performers at Wonderland Forest over the past two years.

Mastronardi’s full statement regarding the future of Wonderland Forest can be found at the venue’s website.
