Rush Expands Fifty Something Tour With 4 New U.S. Cities
Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and company will make one-night-only stops in four cities previously left off the itinerary.

Rush expanded their ongoing Fifty Something Tour with four additional U.S. concerts after discovering they don’t need quite as much time off between shows as initially anticipated.
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson announced new stops in Houston, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. Each city will host a one-night-only performance and was absent from the band’s previously announced 2026 itinerary.
When Rush mapped out the Fifty Something Tour, Lee and Lifeson intentionally left substantial gaps between performances. The surviving members hadn’t toured since Rush’s R40 Live Tour concluded in 2015 and weren’t sure how their bodies would respond to being back on the road more than a decade later.
So far, so good.
“We intentionally left a lot of recovery days in our tour schedule because we weren’t sure how we’d be holding up,” Lee and Lifeson explained in announcing the additions. “Turns out, we’re doing fine and having a blast, so we figured, why not add a few more shows?”
The newly added dates begin October 1 at Toyota Center in Houston. Rush will then perform at Enterprise Center in St. Louis on October 21, Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on October 23 and PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on November 15.
Tickets and VIP packages for the new shows go on sale this Friday, September 4 at 10 a.m. local time.
The Fifty Something Tour launched June 7 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and marked Rush’s return to touring for the first time since 2015. Lee and Lifeson are joined by drummer Anika Nilles, who took on the formidable task of performing parts originally played by late Rush drummer Neil Peart, as well as keyboardist Loren Gold.
Rush built the tour around multiple-night stands in many markets, with setlists changing from show to show. The band is drawing from across its catalog while celebrating more than 50 years of Rush music.
The 2026 North American leg continues through December. Rush will take the Fifty Something Tour to South America and Europe in 2027.
