Snocaps Reunite: Allison Crutchfield Joins Waxahatchee & MJ Lenderman In San Francisco

Waxahatchee (singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield) and MJ Lenderman were joined by Crutchfield’s twin sister Allison Crutchfield at their concert last night in San Francisco. The Snocaps bandmates shared the stage together for a multiple-song sit-in at the Masonic Auditorium.

Lenderman contributed extensively to the 2024 Waxahatchee album, Tigers Blood, which was produced by Brad Cook. Lenderman, Cook and the Crutchfield siblings formed the group Snocaps, who embarked on a short tour in support of their self-titled debut album after it was released late last year.

Three songs from the Snocaps album were played by Lenderman and the Crutchfields at the Masonic. The collaborative effort featured performances “Heathcliff,” “Cherry Hard Candy” and “Avalanche.”

Lenderman and Waxahatchee are backed on their co-tour by multi-instrumentalists Cole Berggren and Colin Croom. The tour wraps tonight in Los Angeles with Brennan Wedl, who again joined the covers-stacked encore in San Francisco, supporting the show.
