Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio premiered “Shaking Someone’s Outstretched Hand,” a new tune co-written with longtime collaborators Scott Herman and Tom Marshall. The song comes as the latest in a line of new tunes shared by Trey during the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak.
Anastasio appears in the video donning the green jumpsuit he wore at this past New Year’s Eve’s Phish concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Trey also has a gas mask on. “Shaking Someone’s Outstretched Hand” follows the previously released songs “Lost In The Pack,” “When The Words Go Away,” “Timeless,” “I Never Needed You Like This Before,” “The Greater Good”, “Lotus” and “I Never Left Home.”
