The Raconteurs returned to the stage for the first time since 2011 on Saturday to headline Third Man Records’ 10th anniversary celebration at the label’s Nashville headquarters. The band that’s made up of Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler used the opportunity to showcase five tracks from their forthcoming LP Help Us Stranger, the group’s first album since 2008.
After opening their 11-song main set with “Consoler Of The Lonely,” the band wasted no time in digging on new tune offering up the live debut of “Bored & Razed,” the lead track from their new record. The Raconteurs would also deliver “Help Me Stranger” and the previously shared singles “Sunday Driver” and “Now That You’re Gone” for the first time live. The rock act leaned in on a string of fan-favorites to close out their set with “Salute Your Solutions,” Steady, As She Goes” and “Blue Veins.”
White looked to his brief time in the Detriot garage rock act The Go to kick off the evening’s three-song encore offering up “Keep On Trash” from the band’s 1999 debut Whatcha Doin’. Donovon deep cut “Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness),” which will be included on Help Us Stranger and “Carolina Drama” brought The Raconteurs first show in eight years to a close. Watch fan-shot video below:
