Field Of Dreamz: Slightly Stoopid Announces Inaugural Hometown Stadium Festival

Slightly Stoopid will host and headline the inaugural Field Of Dreamz Festival at Petco Park in their hometown of San Diego on Saturday, June 13. The group curated the lineup for the one-day event, which is co-headlined by fellow reggae-rockers Sublime.

Stephen Marley, The Elovaters, Pepper, DENM, Z-Trip, Band of Gringos and Boostive are also set to perform across two stages at the first-ever Field Of Dreamz Festival.

For Slightly Stoopid, Field of Dreamz represents a dream come true. Raised in nearby Ocean Beach, co-founders Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald grew up going to Padres games and building an early bond with the team. In recent years that connection has deepened, from throwing out multiple ceremonial first pitches to headlining Petco Park in 2023. Now, teaming up with the Padres, Slightly Stoopid return to Petco to present their first hometown festival at the stadium.

“The Padres and Petco Park have always been special to us,” explained Slightly Stoopid. “From growing up watching the games to headlining shows here, and even throwing out the first pitch, partnering with the Padres and creating our own festival on that field in our hometown is truly a dream come true. Given the history of Stoopid and Sublime, this will be really special, especially with so many of our musical friends and heroes joining us. San Diego has supported us from day one, and the Field of Dreamz Festival is our way of bringing it all back to the community that raised us.”

Slightly Stoopid will release their first full-length studio album since 2018’s Everyday Life later this year. Details of a tour supporting the as-of-yet unnamed record are forthcoming.

An Artist Presale for Field Of Dreamz tickets begins on Thursday, February 19 at 10 a.m. PT ahead of the general onsale on Saturday, February 21 at 10 a.m. PT. VIP packages featuring several amenities will also be available.
