On Monday Dead & Company will play a free concert at The Fillmore in San Francisco. In advance of the show, the band featuring Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti recently held a rehearsal during which they were joined by Sammy Hagar.

The former Van Halen frontman was invited to add vocals during a jam that was captured on video and shared by Burbridge. The brief clip features Hagar singing a blues song with Burbridge, Mayer, Kreutzmann and Hart as Sammy’s neighbor Weir looks on from the side.

Mayer and Hagar appeared together at the recent annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure concert held at The Fillmore in San Francisco on May 15. Weir and Hagar have shared the stage together a number of times, including recent appearances at Sweetwater Music Hall and an environmental event at the Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco.
