Next month, Pink Floyd will issue Live from the Los Angeles Sports Arena, April 26th 1975 on vinyl and CD for the first time. A standalone vinyl edition arrives on Record Store Day, Friday, April 18. A 2CD version is set for release in the U.S. on the same day and on April 24 for the rest of the world.

Pink Floyd’s fourth of five Wish You Were Here Tour concerts at Los Angeles Sports Arena was taped by the late bootlegger Mike “Mike The Mic” Millard, a fixture of the Los Angeles music scene known for his pristine live recordings. Millard’s recording lays the foundation of the release, which was first released on blu-ray in 2025 as part of the Wish You Were Here 50th anniversary reissue.

Steven Wilson meticulously restored and remastered Millard’s master tapes to create what is thought to be the best possible audio document of a legendary tour. Wish You Were Here was primarily recorded after the tour and released the following September, giving Pink Floyd the chance to develop the new material live, on stage.

Pink Floyd opened with songs initially titled “Raving And Drooling” and “You’ve Got To Be Crazy,” early versions of what evolved into “Sheep” and “Dogs” for inclusion on 1977’s Animals. The group followed with all parts of “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” split by fellow Wish You Were Here cut “Have A Cigar.” A complete performance of Pink Floyd’s landmark 1973 LP The Dark Side Of The Moon came next ahead of an “Echoes” encore.
