The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York hosted The Disco Biscuits Thursday night for the first of three shows at the historic venue. Bisco was joined by special guest Matisyahu, who occupied the stage during an improvised segment in the second set. The first set Thursday began with a rendition of “Story Of The World” that segued into “Shem-Rah Boo” and “Gangster” before returning to the conclusion of the opener. Set one also saw offerings of “Strobelights And Martinis” and “On Time.” “7-11” got the call to open the second set, followed by the emergence of Matisyahu. The reggae performer and the band worked up an improvised freestyle that eventually settled into “Floes.” The set progressed with “Pilin’ It High” and a closing take on “House Dog Party Favor.” The night at The Cap came to a close with tDB encoring with “Kitchen Mitts.” Bisco returns to The Capitol Theatre tonight for the second show of the three-night run and a free webcast is once again available.
