Phish will swing by 30 Rock this Thursday, July 11 to serve as the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The quartet’s first appearance on Fallon since 2016 comes in support of their new studio album, Evolve, which arrives on Friday, July 12 via JEMP Records.

The performance on Thursday comes nearly 30 years after the Vermont-based band made their late-night television debut on Letterman in 1994. Phish initially played The Tonight Show on October 3, 2000 during Jay Leno’s stint as host.

Phish last performed on Fallon on October 14, 2016. The foursome promoted their new-at-the-time Big Boat album by playing “Breath & Burning” for the episode and “Blaze On” as a web exclusive. The jam titans have a long history with Jimmy Fallon dating back to his term hosting Late Night. In May of 2010, Phish participated in the show’s Stones Week by covering “Loving Cup” and also filmed a rendition of “Kill Devil Falls” that aired the following month.

The rare late-night appearance for Phish will take place just over a week before they kick off an extensive summer tour. Phish begins the trek with a three-night stand at Xfinity Center — the Mansfield, Massachusetts venue formerly known as Great Woods — July 19 – 21. Scroll below for all dates.
