Phish Selects Magnaball ‘Tweezer’ & ‘Prince Caspian’ For ‘LP On LP 03’ Vinyl Release

Phish announced “LP On LP 03” featuring the “Tweezer” and “Prince Caspian” performed on August 22, 2015 at the band’s Magnaball festival will be released via Phish Dry Goods on August 5. The new installment marks the latest in Phish’s vinyl-only “Live Phish On Long Play” (“LP On LP”) release series.

The +34-minute segment closed out the second set at Phish’s second of three nights at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York. Magnaball spanned August 21 – 23, 2015 and was the band’s 10th major festival. The “Tweezer” > “Prince Caspian” was a highlight of the event filled with otherworldly improvisation.

“LP On LP 03” was recorded by Garry Brown and mixed by Vance Powell from the multitrack masters. The “Ferris Wheel” first pressing is available for pre-order through Phish Dry Goods now with the vinyl slated to ship on around August 3. Phish previously issued the “Ruby Waves” performed on July 14, 2019 as “LP On LP 01” and the “Waves” from May 26, 2011 as “LP On LP 02.”
