The Clubhouse Sessions – Episode 2 kicks off with “Tennessee Jed,” on which Grahame, Nicki and Daniel all handle verses and featuring excellent honky tonk piano from Bowling. Next, the sextet slides through the beloved “Row Jimmy,” with Grahame at the helm and gorgeous harmonies from the vocalists on the chorus.
The ensemble then sails through a snappy “Ship of Fools” captained by Donato before nodding to to Phil’s fellow Grateful Dead founder Bob Weir on his signature “Black-Throated Wind” with Grahame on lead vocals. Another Bobby-led tune follows with the Grateful Dead staple cover of “Me and My Uncle” to wrap the session boasting Cosmic Country guitar sylings from Donato and a spicy piano run from Bowling.
