Paul Simon Readies ‘The Quiet Celebration Concert’ Film & Soundtrack

Paul Simon kicked off the 2026 North American leg of his A Quiet Celebration Tour last night in the Bay Area. The run, which began in 2025, marks Simon’s first substantial tour in eight years, and is the focus of a new concert film coming to Disney+ and Hulu.

Paul Simon: The Quiet Celebration Concert was recorded live at Seattle’s McCaw Hall last August and also includes behind the scenes footage documenting the legendary musician’s return to the road. The concert film premieres June 26 on Disney+ and Hulu, with the accompanying soundtrack to follow on July 9.

The first set of each show is devoted to material from Simon’s latest album, Seven Psalms, while the second sets are loaded with beloved classics and fan favorites. Concerts take place at smaller venues than those he played during his 2017 farewell tour. Paul Simon has found new ways to perform after suffering from hearing loss, a journey also chronicled in the film.

“This tour has enabled me to play with musicians again,” proclaimed Paul Simon in a statement. “I really missed it. Everybody has enjoyed the experience so much. There’s been a feeling of camaraderie and elation that we were playing this piece of music that we were really interested in, and that had a significant effect on me. It made for one of the most extraordinary tours I’ve done — maybe the most joyous.”
