Paul McCartney Announces Freshen Up Tour Dates In US

Living legend Paul McCartney recently detailed a series of Canadian dates as part of his new Freshen Up Tour. Today, McCartney announced the first U.S. dates as part of the run.

The U.S. portion of the tour is currently slated to begin in 2019 at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina on May 27. McCartney hasn’t performed in Raleigh since 2002. Next up comes his debut appearance in Greenville, South Carolina on May 30. The tour continues with Paul’s first visit to Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky in 29 years on June 1. Macca also announced performances in Madison, Wisconsin on June 6 and Moline, Illinois on June 11.

Paul McCartney will release a new album entitled Egypt Station next Friday through Capitol Records. The former Beatle will support the LP with appearances on The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, September 5 and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 6.

Tickets for the five new shows go on sale Friday, September 7 at 10 a.m. local.
