Livetronica quintet Papadosio will release a new studio album entitled To Live A Making on June 16. The 17-track collection is the band’s first to include vocals since 2018’s Content Coma.
The follow-up to 2020’s Microdosio will be the group’s ninth studio album. Papadosio — Sam Brouse (keyboards, vocals), Billy Brouse (keyboards, vocals), Anthony Thogmartin (production, guitars, vocals), Mike Healy (drums) and Rob McConnell (bass) — has been issuing singles at a regular clip dating back to last August. First came “Not Just A Word” which was followed by “Zoom Out,” “Dare You,” “You’re A Catman” and “Spinning.” Each of those five tracks appears on To Live A Making.
The five-piece shared the following about their upcoming studio album:
Our ninth studio album, ‘To Live A Making’, is coming June 16th. It is a story about life: a timely commentary at a pivotal moment in human history that is dedicated to pondering prevailing mainstream cultural narratives. The music aims to inspire notions that life itself is creative, that love is real, and that together we could thrive if only we could tell ourselves the right stories and ask ourselves the right questions.
Papadosio will drop To Live A Making cut “Fossilize” next Friday, June 2. Stream the singles released thus far and pre-order the album below:
Next up for the band is an appearance at the Summer Camp Music Festival on Saturday.
