Oasis Teases 2027 Tour Announcement With Drone Show In Manchester

Oasis lit up the Manchester sky with the clearest indication yet that a 2027 tour announcement is imminent. A drone show on Thursday revealed that the reunited band will make an announcement on Monday, September 14 at 4 p.m. BST/11 a.m. ET.

The display over Joie Stadium on Manchester City’s Etihad Campus first formed the Oasis logo before the drones rearranged to show “14.9.26” and “4PM BST.” Oasis subsequently shared video of the spectacle on social media.

The drone show capped a weeklong series of cryptic videos that appear to reveal destinations for the band’s expected 2027 tour. Oasis has teased Glasgow, Manchester, Amsterdam, Paris, Boston and Rome, among other locations, through clips loaded with geographic and historical clues. The latest video, posted Friday, was filmed at Corner Cottage in Burbank, California, seemingly pointing toward a Los Angeles-area stop.

One Manchester teaser showed two boys playing football as tally marks accumulated on a wall, imagery interpreted as a hint at a lengthy hometown run. The Manchester Evening News reported in July that Oasis is planning a 12-night residency at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium in 2027. The band has yet to confirm those shows.

The clues arrive shortly after Noel Gallagher added to speculation about Oasis’ future during an appearance on talkSPORT. Asked earlier this month whether the group would tour next year, Gallagher eventually noted there is no major men’s international football tournament in 2027 and said, “We’ve got to do something in the summer.” Read more about Gallagher's comments.

Oasis reunited in 2025 for the Live ’25 Tour, their first concerts since splitting in 2009. Whether the latest campaign leads to another full-scale tour should become clear Monday at 11 a.m. ET.
