Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Announces Class Of 2026 Inductees

The 2026 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on November 14.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame revealed the inductees for its 2026 class on Monday night. Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie made the announcement during a special episode of American Idol.

Oasis, Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Sade, Joy Division/New Order, Wu-Tang Clan and Luther Vandross will enter the Rock Hall in the performer category.

Phil Collins, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan were each first time nominees. Sade, Oasis, Joy Division/New Order, Billy Idol and Iron Maiden had each been nominated in the past. Collins was previously inducted into the Rock Hall in 2010 as a member of Genesis.

Other nominees for the 2026 class were INXS, P!NK, Shakira, The Black Crowes, Jeff Buckley, Mariah Carey, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Melissa Etheridge and New Edition. Artists become eligible for nomination 25 years after releasing their first commercial recording.

This year’s Early Influence inductees are MC Lyte, Gram Parsons, Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti and Queen Latifah. Elsewhere, Linda Creed, Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller and Rick Rubin have been named as the Musical Excellence inductees, while Ed Sullivan rounds out the 2026 class as the winner of the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on November 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. ABC and Disney+ will then air the show in December.
