JAŸ-Z Brings Out Pharrell & Justin Timberlake In Paris

JAŸ-Z performed at Stade de France near Paris on Thursday as part of his JAŸ-Z 30 Tour. The rapper, celebrating the 30th anniversary of his debut album Reasonable Doubt, welcomed a pair of special guests, bringing out Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake for separate collaborations.

Williams joined JAŸ-Z for a stretch that included performances of The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse song “Excuse Me Miss” and from its deluxe version, “La-La-La (Excuse Me Miss Again).” Both tracks were produced by Williams’ former production team The Neptunes.

Pharrell remained for a subsequent run through his song, “Frontin’,” which originally was also produced by The Neptunes and featured JAŸ-Z guest verses. Pharrell’s spotlight ended with “Allure,” a song from The Neptunes-produced JAŸ-Z release, The Black Album.

Justin Timberlake appeared later in the set to perform his part from the studio version of “Holy Grail” from the JAŸ-Z album Magna Carta Holy Grail. Timberlake then sang “Until The End Of Time,” a FutureSex/LoveSounds track he later re-recorded as a duet with Beyoncé for the album’s deluxe edition.

The JAŸ-Z 30 Tour resumes with two shows at SoFi Stadium outside Los Angeles in late October. Watch footage of the collaborations at Thursday’s show in Paris:
