Nine Inch Nails Keep Deep Cuts Coming In Zurich

Last night, Nine Inch Nails pulled into Zurich, Switzerland for the seventh show of their global Peel It Back Tour. The band led by Trent Reznor continues to keep fans on their toes by significantly changing the setlist each night.

NIN fit seven tour debuts into their Thursday night concert at Hallenstadion in Zurich. So far, the group has performed 47 different songs since the trek began on June 15 in Dublin, Ireland.

Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and company didn’t use the B-stage in Zurich as they had at previous stops. Nine Inch Nails opened with the tour’s first “The Beginning Of The End,” a track from 2007’s Year Zero. Staples “Wish,” “March Of The Pigs” and “Piggy” followed ahead of a run of “The Lovers,” “The Good Soldier,” “Less Than,” “Copy Of A,” “Survivalism” and “Echoplex.”

Nine Inch Nails loaded the middle of the show with deep cuts. The band looked to 2008’s The Slip for a rare “1,000,000” and after performing “Find My Way,” dusted off five tour debuts in a row. Up first were “La Mer” and “Even Deeper” off the 1999 NIN record The Fragile. Next came the pairing of Bad Witch (2018) cuts “Shit Mirror” and “God Break Down The Door.” The final 2025 premiere of the night was the ensuing “Every Day Is Exactly The Same.”

After the run of tour debuts, Nine Inch Nails devoted the end of the show to classic fan-favorites “Burn,” “Head Like A Hole” and “Hurt.” The Peel It Back Tour hits Vienna, Austria tonight.
