Neil Young & Crazy Horse shared another preview of the forthcoming live album, FU##IN’ UP, with the newly shared single, “To Follow One’s Own Dream.” Set for a vinyl release tomorrow for Record Store Day ahead of a wider release on April 26, the album consists of nine songs from Young’s catalog reworked by the Horse and given new names, including “To Follow One’s Own Dream,” which was originally released as “Days That Used To Be.”
Neil Young & Crazy Horse recorded “Days That Used To Be” for the 1990 album, Ragged Glory, which was also the source of the prior shared FU##IN’ UPM single “Broken Circle” (previously “Over And Over”) and the other tracks.

Neil Young is joined on FU##IN’ UP by the Crazy Horse lineup of bassist Billy Talbot, guitarist/pianist Nils Lofgren, drummer Ralph Molina and multi-instrumentalist Micah Nelson. The album was purportedly recorded at a private concert held in Toronto in November 2023. Most songs on the upcoming record were given new names but Young elected to keep the title of “Farmer John” intact. The decision to alter the titles of the songs was made in an effort to “[allow] them to be here now.”
“In the spirit it’s offered, we made this for the Horse lovers,” said Neil Young about FU##IN’ UP. “I can’t stop it. The Horse is runnin’. What a ride we have. I don’t want to mess with the vibe, and I am so happy to have this to share.”
