Neal Francis Sets Worldwide Premiere For ‘Francis Comes Alive: The Movie’

Neal Francis revealed the worldwide premiere for Francis Comes Alive: The Movie. The concert film captured in the keyboardist’s homebase of Chicago is set to debut free exclusively to nugs.net subscribers on Thursday, November 9 at 8 p.m. ET.
Neal Francis delivered a two-night stand at Chicago’s Thalia Hall earlier this year on March 24 and 25 with an expanded 11-piece band: guitarist Kellen Boersma, bassist Mike Starr and drummer Collin O’Brien as well as a horn section — trumpeter Parris Fleming, saxophonist Corbin Andrick and trombonist Alex Wasily — keyboardist Cole DeGenova and percussionist Daniel Villarreal. Backing vocalists Thair Thompson and Carlile rounded out the lineup.

A live-to-tape album, Francis Comes Alive, documenting the March 25 concert arrived last Friday. Francis continues the rollout with Francis Comes Alive: The Movie. Neal Francis detailed the concert film in a social media post:
Thrilled to announce the worldwide premiere of my concert film, Francis Comes Alive: The Movie, on November 9th on nugs.net. Featuring my incredible expanded 11-piece band, the film was recorded to analog tape at our sold-out show at Thalia Hall in Chicago and was directed by Alec Basse. I can’t wait for you to see it.
