Neal Francis shared video of “Can’t Stop The Rain” from a Thalia Hall performance March 25 in Francis’ home base of Chicago featuring an 11-piece band. The track is set to land on the keyboardist’s upcoming live album, Francis Comes Alive, due out on November 3 via ATO Records.
Neal captured Francis Comes Alive to tape with guitarist Kellen Boersma, bassist Mike Starr and drummer Collin O’Brien as well as a horn section — trumpeter Parris Fleming, saxophonist Corbin Andrick and trombonist Alex Wasily — keyboardist Cole DeGenova and percussionist Daniel Villarreal. Thair Thompson and Carlile provided backing vocals.

The Thalia Hall hometown shows took place on March 24 and 25. The live record boasts songs from Francis’ past studio albums Changes (2019), In Plain Sight (2021) and Sentimental Garbage (2022).
