Watch My Morning Jacket’s Cinematic ‘I Can Hear Your Love’ Video

My Morning Jacket unveiled the video for “I Can Hear Your Love.” The blissed-out track appears on is, the quintet’s recently released 10th studio album.
My Morning Jacket – frontman Jim James, bassist Tom Blankenship, guitarist Carl Broemel, drummer Patrick Hallahan and keyboardist Bo Koster – tapped Danny Clinch to direct the video. “We had so much fun making this video, all captured LIVE in ONE take, we hope you enjoy it!” the band stated of the experience.
The video opens in black-and-white before shifting into full color a la Wizard Of Oz. Gabriel Judet-Weinshel created special effects as sparks fly off the band members and kaleidoscopic imagery is displayed.

Recorded at Los Angeles’ Henson Recording Studios with Brendan O’Brien behind the board, is marks the first My Morning Jacket album that wasn’t produced or co-produced by Jim James. The 10-track follow-up to 2021’s My Morning Jacket was released through ATO Records back in March.
My Morning Jacket will resume their is Tour on August 5 in Bend, Oregon. A fall leg follows a series of August dates with shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of Z sprinkled throughout.
