Mumford & Sons Welcome Shania Twain & Hozier At Hyde Park

Mumford & Sons came to London’s Hyde Park on Saturday as part of the BST Hyde Park event. The British band brought out a trio of guests during their performance on the Great Oak Stage, including country superstar Shania Twain and Irish singer-songwriter Hozier.

Following sets from Caamp, Holly Humberstone and The War on Drugs, Mumford & Sons headlining performance got underway with “Begin Again,” off their new album Prizefighter, which arrived earlier this year.

Marcus Mumford and company then treated the festival audience to favorites such as “I Will Wait” and “White Blank Page” before welcoming their first guest of the set, Stella Lefty, to travel through “Badlands.” Hozier then came aboard to join Mumford & Sons on a performance of their collaborative single, “Rubber Band Man,” and stuck around for Mumford standout “Awake My Soul.”

After main set closer “The Wolf,” the five-song encore began with the title track off Mumford & Sons 2025 LP, Rushmere. Shania Twain then emerged to help the band out on Prizefighter cut “Here” before the collab delivered Shania’s signature song, “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” Mumford & Sons went it alone for “The Banjo Song” and “The Cave” to conclude the concert.

While Mumford & Sons had never shared the stage with Shania Twain previously, the band is no stranger to “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” The 1997 hit had been performed by the Brits nine times prior dating back to 2011.
