Mihali Hails Moon Taxi For New ‘King Of The Low’ Single

Mihali released his sixth studio single of the year, “King Of The Low,” featuring Moon Taxi. The track was produced by Moon Taxi’s Spencer Thomson, who also produced Mihali’s 2024 singles “Free Ride” “Circus Life” and “Wise Man.”

“‘King Of The Low’ is about the eternal quest for ‘your sound,’” Mihali said. “Something all musicians strive for, and something that often takes a long time to figure out!”

Moon Taxi joins other Mihali collaborators who contributed to his 2024 releases, including Andy Frasco (“Circus Life”), Wax (“Real Good Day”) and Little Stranger (“We Are”). Regarding his and Moon Taxi’s participation, Spencer Thomson stated:

“Moon Taxi have all been fans of Mihali for a while! It’s been such a great and rewarding experience for me personally working as a producer on his new music, and it made so much sense for us to join forces for a song. We actually had Mike Oehmen [Mihali’s saxophonist] join us for several shows last fall and loved playing with him as well. Bringing everyone together for this track felt so natural and I’m stoked to share it with the world!”

Mihali recently embarked on his annual Mihalidaze Tour. The Northeast-focused run continues tonight in Hartford, Connecticut.
