Maplewood, New Jersey-native Mihali led his solo band through Stone Temple Pilots' 1993 smash “Plush” in a recently released Sugarshack Sessions video. The clip was filmed at the Sugarshack in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Mihali has split his time between solo looping and live band performances since Twiddle began an indefinite hiatus at the end of 2023. The guitarist’s live band features Twiddle bandmate Zdenek Gubb on bass, Adrian Tramontano on drums and keyboardist Scott Hannay.

“Plush” was the second single from Stone Temple Pilots’ debut album, Core, and the first to peak at number one on Billboard’s Album Rock Tracks chart. STP vocalist Scott Weiand and guitarist Dean DeLeo performed an acoustic version of the song on MTV’s Headbangers Ball in 1992, paving the way for Mihali to unplug for “Plush” on Sugarshack Sessions.
Scott Hannay focused on anthemic organ blasts throughout the cover while the rhythm section of Gubb and Tramontano powered the groove. Mihali belted out the lyrics and strummed “Plush” on acoustic.
