Medeski Martin & Wood And Alarm Will Sound Share ‘Anonymous Skulls’ Single

On September 14, Medeski Martin & Wood and chamber orchestra Alarm Will Sound will release a collaborative new album entitled Omnisphere via MMW’s Indirecto Records label. The pair of acts shared the single “Anonymous Skulls.”

Recorded live The Newman Center in Denver in February 2015, Omnisphere presents original music from both groups, as well as new Alarm Will Sound arrangements of two songs off the 2004 MMW album End Of The World Party (Just In Case). One of those two songs is “Anonymous Skulls,” which was given a new arrangement by Alarm Will Sound violinist Courtney Orlando.
