See Margo Price Give ‘Strays’ A Home ‘Live From KCRW HQ’

Margo Price recently performed Live From KCRW HQ. The singer-songwriter delivered songs from her 2023 album Strays for the Los Angeles public radio station broadcasting from the campus of Santa Monica College.

Margo Price’s Strays arrived on January 13 (Read JamBase’s 5 Takeaways From Margo Price’s New Album Strays). Margo and her band the Pricetags delivered four tracks from her latest record in a stripped-down format beginning with “Radio,” which, along with the rest of the LP, was recorded not far from Santa Monica in producer Jonathan Wilson’s Topanga Canyon studio.

Price and company also offered the album singles “Lydia” and “Been To The Mountain.” The session closes with “Hell In The Heartland.” Additionally, Margo’s chat with KCRW Program Director of Music Anne Litt appears between songs.
