Maggie Rogers brought her tour in support of her new album Don’t Forget Me to the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights, Michigan, last Sunday night. The Detroit-area concert was capped with Rogers dueting on a gorgeous cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” with opening act The Japanese House.
The Japanese House is the moniker of British singer-songwriter/guitarist Amber Bain. Rogers brought Bain out at the end of the concert at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre after starting the encore with the Don’t Forget Me title track. Rogers and Bain then teamed up on “Landslide” (purportedly a debut for Rogers), each playing acoustic guitars accompanying their sweet vocal harmonies.
“Got to sing one of my favorite songs with one of my favorite artists in Detroit,” Rogers wrote about the collab with The Japanese House.
