Leftover Salmon, Travelin’ McCourys & Others Tapped For 2025 Jerry Garcia Celebration At Bluegrass Music Museum

The Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame Museum in Owensboro, Kentucky will celebrate Jerry Garcia next year with a two-day event scheduled for March 21 – 22. Leftover Salmon and The Travelin’ McCourys will headline the celebration honoring the Grateful Dead co-founder’s bluegrass roots.
The Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame Museum opened the “Jerry Garcia: A Bluegrass Journey” exhibition last year. Featuring Garcia’s banjos, other instruments and additional personal artifacts, the temporary exhibition will be housed the the Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame Museum for two years.

Leftover Salmon will perform at the museum on Saturday, March 21. The Travelin’ McCourys will perform on Friday, March 20. Guitarist Eric Thompson, who performed with Garcia in several pre-Dead folk bands, will appear on both nights. Bluegrass Garcia-tribute band Deadgrass will also perform each night as well.
