Lake Street Dive Shares 2025 Halloween Billy Joel Cover
The band’s October 31st tradition continues with their costumed take on “The Longest Time.”

Lake Street Dive has maintained a decade-plus tradition of posting Halloween cover videos on October 31st. This year the band tackled Billy Joel's “The Longest Time.”
The costumed performance featured frontwoman Rachael Price, keyboardist Akie Bermiss, bassist Bridget Kearney, guitarist James Cornelison and drummer Mike Calabrese singing Joel’s doo-wop song from his 1983 album, An Innocent Man.
Past Lake Street Dive Halloween cover videos have included Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way,” Ace of Base’s “The Sign,” The B-52’s’ “Love Shack,” Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Fleetwood Mac’s “Second Hand News,” Travelin’ Wilburys’ “Handle With Care,” The Beatles’ “Don’t Let Me Down,” Hall & Oates’ “You Make My Dreams Come True,” Starland Vocal Band’s “Afternoon Delight” and the Mamas & Papas-popularized “Dedicated To The One I Love.”
