Lake Street Dive Handles Traveling Wilburys Cover With Care For Halloween 2022 Video

Each year dating back over a decade Lake Street Dive has released a cover video on Halloween. LSD continues the tradition with a take on supergroup Traveling Wilburys’ “Handle With Care” issued today as their 2022 Halloween cover video.

The members of the quintet each dressed as members of The Traveling Wilburys for the clip filmed by Ian MacGregor featuring a cover of the famed supergroup’s 1988 smash. LSD’s “Handle With Care” sees appearances by Rachael Price as George Harrison, Akie Bermiss as Roy Orbison, Bridget Kearney as Tom Petty, Mike Calabrese as Bob Dylan and James Cornelison as Jeff Lynne. Price and Bermiss carefully handle lead vocal duties. The band recruited crew member Ian MacGregor to play drums.

“Handle With Care” follows last year’s Halloween cover video featuring Hall & Oates' “You Make My Dreams (Come True).” Previous installments include Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Fleetwood Mac’s “Second Hand News,” Starland Vocal Band’s “Afternoon Delight,” the B-52’s “Love Shack” and other classic rock songs.

Lake Street Dive accompanied the clip with a note, writing:

It’s easy, being in our band, to notice the shining individuality of each member and their contribution to the overall chemistry that is Lake Street Dive. Sometimes we feel like we’re in a supergroup! Well, that was the inspiration behind choosing The Traveling Wilburys for our Halloween video this year! Possibly the best supergroup of all time! Besides maybe the original Genesis lineup. Furthermore, we’re all very sensitive, so we chose their banger “Handle with Care.” Please enjoy, and handle yourselves with care this coming winter season.
