Kurt Vile Covers Nine Inch Nails For A.V. Undercover

Psych-rocker Kurt Vile won himself many new fans at this month’s Outside Lands festival thanks to an awe-inspiring set he played with his Violators outfit. Vile is the latest artist to take part in A.V. Club’s Undercover 2013 series of performances and he chose Nine Inch Nails’ 1989 hit “Down In It” as his selection. 
Kurt and Violator Rob Laasko offer a deconstructed take on NIN’s debut single. We’re impressed at how the stripped-down version came out (drum machine, keyboards and guitar). Take a look:
