On April 18, Kung Fu will team with special guests including Phish drummer Jon Fishman, Dead & Company’s Oteil Burbridge and TAB’s Natalie Cressman for a “Get Out And Vote For Bernie” benefit concert at Brooklyn’s The Hall At MP. The concert comes in support of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and will take place one day before the New York Primary.
Admission to the event is free with RSVP, though the suggested donation of $27 matches the average contribution from every individual. Donation stations will be set up at the event, and you can also contribute prior to the event here.
Recently, Fish spoke at a rally for Sanders and the drummer has performed a number of times with a variety of acts in support of the candidate. Fish also appeared in a brief video for the Sanders campaign explaining his reason for backing the senator from Vermont, which you can see below:
Organizers Live For Live Music advise there are more special guests to be announced.
