Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival unveiled its second round of 2024 artists including Tony Trischka‘s Earl Jam, Emmylou Harris, Sleater-Kinney and more. The free festival takes place at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park October 4 – 6.

Banjo player Tony Trischka’s Earl Jam is a tribute to bluegrass legend and banjo great Earl Scruggs.

“I really look forward to returning to Hardly Strictly with Earl Jam: my tribute to Earl Scruggs, celebrating his 100th birthday,” Trischka said. “The last time I played the festival it was a gorgeous, sunny day in Golden Gate Park and Earl was also on the show and played incredibly, so it seems fitting to return to this great festival to honor this great man!”
