Guns N’ Roses brought their 2025 World Tour to Ratinan Stadion in Tampere, Finland on Monday. GNR welcomed Michael Monroe of influential Finnish group Hanoi Rocks for “Bad Obsession” early in the show.
Monroe emerged four songs into the set to play harmonica on “Bad Obsession” off GNR’s 1991 album Use Your Illusion I. Monroe’s band Hanoi Rocks were seen to as pioneers of the glam metal sound and look, which Guns N’ Roses adopted in the mid-1980s. While Hanoi Rocks were only initially active between 1979 and 1985 — the same year GNR formed — they left their mark on American rock music of the era.
