Guns N’ Roses Announce New Touring Drummer
Isaac Carpenter replaces Frank Ferrer behind the kit.

Guns N’ Roses will have a new look when the veteran rock band returns to touring in May. The group announced Isaac Carpenter as their new touring drummer.
Carpenter replaces Frank Ferrer, who took over on drums for GNR in 2006. Ferrer’s last performance with the band was held on November 5, 2023, at the Hell & Heaven Metal Fest in Mexico. Guns N’ Roses did not perform publicly in 2024.
Carpenter landed the gig after playing in GNR guitarist Duff McKagan's band Loaded. The drummer has also performed with other groups including Gosling and AWOLNATION.
Guns N’ Roses’ first concert with Carpenter on drums is slated for May 1 at Songdo Moonlight Park in Incheon, South Korea. See the announcement posts regarding Carpenter and Ferrer posted by GNR below:
