Guns N’ Roses Offer Live Debuts At 2026 Tour Opener In Monterrey

Guns N’ Roses launched their 2026 World Tour on Saturday (March 28) with a headlining set at the Tecate Pa’l Norte festival in Monterrey, Mexico. The band delivered a 26-song performance that included the live debuts of “Nothin'” and “Atlas.”

The show at the Parque Fundidora came one day after GN’R announced keyboardist Melissa Reese would miss the tour “due to unforeseen personal reasons.” The iconic rock band soldiered on with just Dizzy Reed on keys.

Classic GN’R lineup members frontman Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan are joined in the latest iteration of the group by Reed, recently installed drummer Isaac Carpenter and guitarist Richard Fortus. The setlist in Monterrey featured the aforementioned live premieres along with plenty of hits, including “Welcome To The Jungle,” “It’s So Easy,” “Sweet Child o’Mine,” “November Rain” and “Paradise City.”

Additionally, Guns N’ Roses worked covers of Wings’ “Live & Let Die,” Black Sabbath’s “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath,” Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,” The Damned’s “New Rose” and UK Subs’ “Down On The Farm” into the show. The first live performance of “Nothin'” came halfway through the concert and was followed a few songs later by “Atlas.” Both songs were released as singles by GN’R in December.
