Greensky Bluegrass dobroist Anders Beck won’t perform with the band during their next three concerts “due to a serious family emergency.” The band announced “in the spirit of ‘the show must go on,” they will be joined by keyboardist Holly Bowling this weekend and Cris Jacobs next weekend.

Bowling will perform with an Anders-less Greensky Bluegrass this Saturday at the RendezVan at Mt. Bachelor event in Bend, Oregon. Then, Jacobs will team with Beck’s bandmates for their appearance at MerleFest on Friday, April 29 and concert in New Orleans on Saturday, April 30.

Both Holly Bowling and Cris Jacobs have a long history of sharing the stage with Greensky Bluegrass. Bowling also appears on the group’s recently released studio album, Stress Dreams.
