Queen City Jam Session 2022 Lineup: Greensky Bluegrass, Oteil & Friends + More
Spafford, Rebirth Brass Band and Victor Wooten are more of the acts aboard for the new festival's inaugural outing.
The inaugural Queen City Jam Session music festival boasts an initial 2022 lineup that includes Greensky Bluegrass, Oteil & Friends, The Infamous Stringdusters and others. Organizers by MaxxMusic and NoDa Brewing Company, the three-day event is coming to the grounds of NoDa Brewing Company’s main Charlotte location from August 19 – 21.
Bassist Oteil Burbridge’s band for the festival will feature guitarists Eric Krasno and Steve Kimock, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby, drummer John Kimock and trumpeter/vocalist Jennifer Hartswick. Other Queen City Jam Session 2022 acts include Spafford, Rebirth Brass Band and Victor Wooten as well as Charlotte-based musicians Cyanca and Natalie Carr. Look for additional lineup announcements in the weeks to come.
“I started MaxxMusic 26 years ago because bands were regularly skipping the Charlotte market and playing everywhere but here,” explained MaxxMusic founder Gregg McCraw. “26 years later, it’s clear that most major cities have a music festival. It’s time that we had one of our own, so it’s exciting to fill that void.”
“NoDa Brewing Co. has always had a passion for bringing together people in the community over a beer and for music,” added Jacob Virgil, Director of Strategic Development for NoDa Brewing Company. “We are excited to marry the two and create what we hope will be Charlotte’s premier music festival for years to come.”
